How we helped a fixed-price recruitment proposition reach the employers who needed it most — with a lean, focused website and a complete digital launch strategy.
The recruitment industry has a pricing problem that everyone in it knows about and few talk about openly. A placement fee of 15 to 20 per cent of a candidate’s first-year salary is standard practice, and for many businesses hiring for mid-level roles, a single appointment can easily cost thousands of pounds. For the small business owner or the operations manager with a sensible but limited budget, that can make using an agency feel difficult to justify — even when professional support would genuinely help.
Nicola Sales and the team at YourRecruit, an established recruitment business with over 30 years of experience, saw the gap. Not every vacancy needs a full recruitment campaign. Some roles simply need a sharper advert, stronger positioning, and wider visibility than a business can achieve on its own. HireFlow Direct was built to fill that space: all the recruitment expertise and multi-platform reach, at a fixed and transparent price starting from £190. No placement fees. No percentage of salary. A service built around the employer who wants to stay in control of the process while getting the reach and quality they can’t easily produce alone.
Launching a new proposition in an established market takes more than a good idea. It takes a website that explains the concept quickly and clearly — because anyone who has to work to understand what you’re selling won’t stay long enough to buy it. And it takes a digital strategy that reaches the right employers at the right moment, before they’ve committed to a traditional agency or posted the role themselves.
That was the brief Nicola brought to Three Girls Media: launch this properly, make it immediately easy to understand, and get it in front of the employers who need it.
Absolutely delighted with the website Three Girls Media designed for my business. I loved the branding ideas and overall image they suggested for it and I’ve had excellent feedback and lots of new customers. Thanks so much.
Everything about the web design brief pointed in the same direction: simple, clear, and fast. HireFlow Direct was a new service with a new name in a crowded market, and the proposition needed to land within seconds of a visitor arriving. That kind of clarity requires deliberate structural thinking — about what goes on the homepage, in what order, and with how much detail. We stripped everything back to the essentials: what HireFlow Direct does, how it differs from a traditional recruiter, what it costs, and how to get started.
The site was built around the customer journey rather than a conventional website structure. A visitor arrives, understands the proposition, chooses the right package, and either buys online or books a call — with as few steps between those moments as possible. The three service tiers (Campaign Launch, Campaign Enhance, and Campaign Managed) were presented with honest guidance on which employers each package suited and, equally importantly, which it didn’t. That transparency was a deliberate choice: HireFlow Direct has a specific use case, and being clear about its scope is part of what makes it credible.
A key element of the build was a custom job listing integration, displaying live vacancies on the site and updating automatically without manual input. This gave the website a functional dimension that went beyond a marketing brochure, showing prospective clients that the service was active and in use.
We built dedicated landing pages for the PPC campaigns alongside the main site — each one aligned to a specific package and built for conversion. The analytics infrastructure was set up from launch to track the full customer journey from ad click to purchase, giving Nicola and the team clear visibility of what was working in real time. SEO foundations were built in from the start, targeting the searches employers make when they’re looking for alternatives to traditional agency fees — fixed-price recruitment, flat-fee job advertising, and similar terms. And the social media strategy put HireFlow Direct in front of business owners, HR managers, and operations leads on the channels where they’re most active.
HireFlow Direct launched with a website that did exactly what it needed to do: explained a new concept simply, gave employers the confidence to try it, and made getting started feel effortless. Early client responses reflected that — the reviews that came in consistently noted how straightforward the process felt, which was one of the things the build was specifically designed to achieve.
The digital launch strategy meant HireFlow Direct wasn’t dependent on word of mouth alone from day one. PPC campaigns brought in early traffic from employers actively looking for alternatives to full recruitment fees, while the social media presence began building awareness among a growing audience. The analytics setup gave the team immediate clarity on which channels and packages were generating the most interest, allowing the strategy to be refined quickly as the service gained traction.
For any new proposition in an established market, the first challenge is credibility — persuading potential customers to try something unfamiliar over something they already know. A clean, professional, easy-to-navigate website backed by real recruitment expertise goes a long way toward making that case. HireFlow Direct has that foundation, and the ongoing relationship with Three Girls Media means the digital side of the business continues to evolve as the service grows.
