Florist Bridal Wild: Web Design for a Florist in Surrey and South London

How a photographer we’ve worked with for a decade sent his wife our way, and how we built a website as natural and fresh as her wedding flowers.

Background

The best introductions in a trade built on trust rarely come from advertising. They come from someone who has already been through the process themselves and liked what came out the other end.

Rob Morris found that out for himself long before Bridal Wild existed. Rob is a photographer and food stylist whose work has appeared in television commercials, magazines and advertising for some of the biggest brands in the country, and Three Girls Media has built two websites for him over a ten-year relationship, most recently a new site for his food styling work. So when his wife, Becky, needed a website for the wedding florist business she’d built, Bridal Wild, Rob knew exactly who to call.

Bridal Wild creates natural, garden-gathered wedding flowers from a base in Sussex, working across the South East for couples who want flowers that look grown rather than arranged: soft, romantic and sustainable, closer to a country garden than a florist’s cooler. Becky had built a genuine style and a growing client base of her own, largely through word of mouth in the Sussex wedding scene and on Instagram, the same way Rob’s referral had reached us in the first place.

The brief was to build a website that did for Bridal Wild what Becky’s flowers already did in person: feel natural rather than staged, put real work in front of engaged couples who were still deciding on a florist, and make enquiring feel as easy and unpressured as the flowers themselves looked.

What our Client Said

Rated 5 out of 5

Julian is very easy to work with and the whole process has been a lot easier than I envisaged.

Three Girls Media has created a fresh modern company website which is exactly what I wanted.

The Work

A florist’s website sells almost entirely on photography, so we built the design to get out of the way of the images rather than compete with them: large, unfussy galleries of real weddings, arranged so a scrolling couple sees Becky’s actual work before they read a word about her.

We built the site around the two things Becky wanted couples to understand before they enquired: the garden-gathered, naturally arranged style that sets Bridal Wild apart from more formal, structured florists, and the sustainability and eco-friendly sourcing that mattered to Becky personally and to a growing number of the couples booking her. We gave that its own dedicated page rather than a paragraph in an about section, because for the couples it matters to, it’s often a deciding factor, not a footnote.

We structured the site around real weddings across Sussex and Kent, in towns like Tunbridge Wells and Mayfield where Becky actually works, with SEO built in around those locations and around wedding-specific search terms from the start, rather than a generic florist site competing for search terms with every flower shop in the South East.

Becky already had the kind of client testimonials that do real persuading in the wedding trade, couples describing the process as stress-free and the results as exactly what they’d hoped for. We gave those a proper home on the site itself, next to the portfolio, so a couple reading them is looking at the same weddings the words are describing.

We also built the site to work alongside Instagram rather than compete with it, since that’s where most of Becky’s couples find her first. The website’s job is to be the place a couple lands once they’re seriously interested, with the depth, the pricing conversation and the enquiry form Instagram was never built to carry, rather than trying to be a second social feed.

We kept the enquiry process itself simple and low-pressure, because a couple planning a wedding is already fielding decisions from a dozen suppliers at once. Bridal Wild’s site asks for the basics, the date, the venue, the style they’re drawn to, and gets out of the way, rather than demanding a detailed brief before Becky’s even had a conversation with them

Impact

Bridal Wild now has a website that matches Becky’s own style: unfussy, photography-led, and built to reassure a couple who’s still deciding on a florist that they’ve found someone who understands what they actually want. It gives her real work and real client testimonials the visibility they’d never get scattered across social media alone.

Three Girls Media designed and built the site, and it remains live today as Bridal Wild’s main booking channel for couples across Sussex and Kent. It’s also, in its own small way, proof of how referral actually works in a trade built on trust: Rob Morris sent his wife to us after ten years and two websites of his own, and now Becky’s flowers are getting the same kind of send-off to the next couple who asks her who built her site…..
